According to EU norms CE labeling in curtain walls is obligatory. The procedure is that the aluminium fabricator declares that the final product is in accordance to the aluminium system producer requirements. The aluminium system producer agrees to “transfer” the system certificates and verifies that the whole process is fully harmonized with EU requirements.

That means that the final product is available to be delivered and sold in the EU.

Following this procedure, all final buyers (private individual, contractor etc.) would easily recognize the product specific characteristics and compare products (either from suppliers or constructors) by using similar criteria

Thus each country has to recognize certificates that are issued from an EU accredited and acknowledged test laboratory.
